Assigning User Roles to your SmartLink account

SmartLink has the ability to manage individual user roles in your SmartLink account.

Let's set some definitions and examples of different job descriptions in your organization.

Admin - the top level user. This can be an owner or a high level administrator in your company
Manager - an account or branch manager
Inspector - an employee typically assigned to perform site/controller inspections
Tech - an irrigation tech installing SmartLine controllers and performing repairs in the field

Here are some examples of account permissions given to different account users:

Users Admin Invite/remove users and set others user permissions

Branch Admin Create, edit, and delete site branches

Account Admin Configure account settings and proposal details (Set logo, user stamps, etc)

Price List Admin Create, edit, and destroy price lists and edit prices

Job Catalog Admin Create, edit, and destroy job catalog items and tags

Proposal Admin Create, view, edit, delete, archive, flag as done & view history

Proposal Auth Send proposals and get on-site authorization

Billing Admin Ability to manage payment methods, modify subscriptions, and purchase service

Can Add To Subscription Ability to add controllers to an existing house subscription

Goals Admin Set and edit goals
