Description
The controller identified the high and low temperatures are the same for five consecutive days, or that one of data points of temperature is missing.
Resolution
If you do not have a SmartLink Aircard
Re-sync the sensor to the controller (Step 1 is the most important)
1. Unplug the controller, or remove the fuse if it's hardwired
2. Disconnect the SLW batteries
3. Turn the controller back on
4. When the time is displayed on the screen, insert the (2) AAA batteries into the SLW5
5. Make sure the controller's Rain/Freeze button is On and Green
6. Press and Hold the SLW5 spindle down for 10-15 seconds. If it's wet, unlock the spindle and press it down for 10-15 seconds
7. Watch the Rain/Freeze light as it should turn Red. It will also say RAIN on the screen for newer panels
8. Let go of the SLW spindle and make sure the light goes back green
9. Re-install the SLW
If you have an Aircard
1. Unplug the controller or remove the fuse
2. Disconnect the aircard
3. Remove the (2) AAA batteries from the SLW5
4. Power the controller on
5. Wait for the time on the panel, then insert the batteries into the SLW
6. Watch for 4 green SLW5 blinks near the battery compartment. If you get any red blinks, repeat this process 2-3 times
7. Make sure the panel's "Rain/Freeze Sensing" is on and green
8. Press and hold the SLW5 spindle for 15-20 seconds. Does the panel show RAIN? If not, repeat the pairing process 2-3 times.
9. If it showed RAIN, let go of the spindle and reconnect the aircard
10. Wait for a Solid Green aircard light
11. Press and hold the SLW5 Spindle again for RAIN
12. If you do not see RAIN with the aircard, swap out aircards and repeat this process
13. If you see RAIN with the aircard, test a RECEIVE command on SmartLink Network
