Description
The SmartLink system, which has flow services enabled, identified flow usage for two consecutive zones that is outside of the user-defined high/low tolerance range.
What might happen as a result of the issue?
The entire system will be shut down if it detects two zones in a row reporting flow usage outside of the user defined high/ low tolerance range.
For systems with a Master Valve installed, breaks in the system’s mainline will be protected since the Master Valve is turned OFF as a result of the alert.
For systems without a Master Valve installed will still register the alerts and shut down a program operation, but with no Master Valve to shut down, the break can't be isolated.
Probable Cause
The problem may be the result of a mainline break, a leaking zone valve, a weeping master valve, consecutive lateral line leaks, a clogged mainline, or a master valve which is not fully opening.
