If you think that the Auto-Adjust watering times are too much or too little for any zone, you can fine tune the watering times. There are primarily two positions on the dial for adjusting your run times. You can use the Sprinkler Type position to change the precipitation rate for each zone. The higher the precipitation rate you select, the shorter the run time will be. Spray heads are generally rated at 1.5 inches per hour and rotary sprinklers at .5 inches per hour.
You can also use the More/Less position to adjust run times for individual zone conditions such as total shade. See your owner's manual. It is normal to have a 3 or 4 week adjustment period after setting up a SmartLine system.
