How can I tell the difference between LTE (4G) and 3G aircards?

Why are 3G aircards being replaced?

Throughout 2022, service for 3G aircards will be discontinued by Weathermatic’s cellular service
providers.

If you have an LTE aircard, your service will continue uninterrupted. If you have a 3G aircard, it will need
to be replaced. To order a replacement aircard, contact the Renewals Department at 650-300-0309.

How can I identify LTE and 3G aircards?
LTE and 3G aircards can be distinguished by these differences
• LTE aircards will have the words “LTE” and a QR code on the front panel
• LTE aircards have a tapered antenna, 3G aircards have a straight antenna and an
exposed gold connector
