Wireless weather stations use two AA sized lithium batteries providing a maximum life of 10 years. SmartLink users will receive a notification when the batteries in their wireless weather stations are running low.

How do I replace the batteries?

On the bottom of the weather station are two Phillips head (crosshead) screws. First, unscrew these to about the halfway out. Then rotate the bottom of the weather station and remove it. Inside the weather station is a battery holder, simply remove and replace the batteries.
