Learn how to invite new users to a SmartLink site by following the video or instructions below
Step 1: Navigate to the Site Page
- Log in to your SmartLink Network account at smartlinknetwork.com.
- Select the site to which you want to invite a user.
- Click on the Admin drop down button.
- Select Manage Site Users.
Step 2: Review Existing Users and Permissions
- You will see a list of current users associated with the site.
- Four permission levels are available:
- View Controller: Allows users to view and monitor controllers.
- Run Commands: Grants permission to start and stop zones or programs.
- Edit Programs: Allows users to modify controller settings.
- Site Administration: Provides full access to manage users, controllers, and site information.
Step 3: Add a New User
- Click the Add User button at the top right.
- Enter the user's email address.
- If adding multiple users, separate each email with a comma and a space.
- Select the appropriate permissions by checking the corresponding boxes.
- Click Add User.
Step 4: Confirm User Invitation
- A yellow invitation bubble will appear next to the user's email address.
- The user will receive an invitation email to complete the registration process.
Step 5: User Registration Process
- The invited user must click Register Here in the invitation email.
- They will be prompted to enter their name, phone number, and address.
- After submitting the registration form, they will receive a confirmation email.
- Once confirmed, the user's status will update in SmartLink with their name, email, and permissions.
