How to Invite New Users to SmartLink Network

Learn how to invite new users to a SmartLink site by following the video or instructions below

Step 1: Navigate to the Site Page

1. Log in to your SmartLink Network account at smartlinknetwork.com.
2. Select the site to which you want to invite a user.
3. Click on the Admin drop down button.
4. Select Manage Site Users.

Step 2: Review Existing Users and Permissions

1. You will see a list of current users associated with the site.
2. Four permission levels are available:
   • View Controller: Allows users to view and monitor controllers.
   • Run Commands: Grants permission to start and stop zones or programs.
   • Edit Programs: Allows users to modify controller settings.
   • Site Administration: Provides full access to manage users, controllers, and site information.

Step 3: Add a New User

1. Click the Add User button at the top right.
2. Enter the user's email address.
3. If adding multiple users, separate each email with a comma and a space.
4. Select the appropriate permissions by checking the corresponding boxes.
5. Click Add User.

Step 4: Confirm User Invitation

1. A yellow invitation bubble will appear next to the user's email address.
2. The user will receive an invitation email to complete the registration process.

Step 5: User Registration Process

1. The invited user must click Register Here in the invitation email.
2. They will be prompted to enter their name, phone number, and address.
3. After submitting the registration form, they will receive a confirmation email.
4. Once confirmed, the user's status will update in SmartLink with their name, email, and permissions.
