How to Adjust the Number of Start Times on SmartLink Network

Learn how to adjust the number of Start Times on your SmartLine controller in SmartLink Network using the instructions provided below

Step 1: Log In and Select Your Controller

1. Go to smartlinknetwork.com and enter your login credentials to access your account.
2. On the Site Page, find the search bar and type in and select your Site Name from the search results.
3. Then click on the Controller name
   -OR-
4. Locate the Controller List at the top, then find and click the Controller name.

Step 2: Adjust the Number of Start Times

1. From the Controller Page, scroll down and click on the Advanced Menu link underneath Flow.
2. Locate the option for Max Concurrent Programs.
3. Adjust the number of start times from the default setting of 3 to 4, 5, 6, 7, or even 8 start times, depending on your needs.

Step 3: Save and Send the changes to your SmartLine Panel

1. Click Save at the bottom of Advanced Settings
2. At the top of SmartLink, a red Send button will appear. Click that
3. Wait a few moments for the changes to send your panel. A green Successfully Sent banner will appear afterwards
4. If a Red Failed to Send banner appears, wait 1 minute and try to Send again

 Why Adjust Start Times?

• Optimize Watering Efficiency: Manually manipulate run soaks to reduce water runoff.
• Prevent Runoff: Set shorter cycles, allowing water to soak into the soil before restarting the irrigation cycle.
• Restrict Start Times: Limit to one start time if concerned about unintended or errant program starts.
• Staggered Start Times: Reduce electrical surges by staggering zone start times.
