Learn how to create and apply Snapshots in SmartLink Network by following the video or instructions below
Step 1: Log In and Select your Controller
- Go to smartlinknetwork.com and enter your login credentials to access your account.
- On the Site Page, find the search bar.

Type in your Site Name and select it from the search results.

- Locate the Controller List at the top and click on the Controller name.
Step 2: Access the Snapshot Feature
- On the Controller Page, find the Snapshot button near the top of the screen, next to the Events Log button.
- Click on the Snapshot button.
- If you have any saved snapshots, they will appear with details including:
- Date and Time of creation
- Created by
- Snapshot Name
Step 3: Create a New Snapshot
- To create a new snapshot, click on the New Snapshot button in the top right corner.
- Enter a name for your snapshot. (For example: “Test Snapshot”)
- Click Create Snapshot.
- Your new snapshot will now appear in the list, displaying its date, time, creator, and name.
Step 4: Manage Snapshots
- On the right side of the snapshot list, you will find various action buttons. You can:
- View: Review the saved programming, including days to water, start times, seasonal adjustments, run times, and Smart Mode settings.
- Apply: Select and apply a previous snapshot to overwrite the current programming.
- Edit: Change the name of the snapshot.
- Export: Download the snapshot data as an Excel file.
- Delete: Permanently remove the snapshot.
Step 5: Apply a Snapshot
- To apply a snapshot, click on the Apply button next to the snapshot you want to use.
- Confirm your choice by clicking OK when asked if you want to replace the current programming.
- A confirmation message will appear stating that the snapshot was applied successfully.
Step 6: Review and Send Programming
- After applying a snapshot, click Back to Controller Page.
- Review the details to ensure accuracy, including:
- Start Times
- Run Times
- Zone Modules
- Once you’ve confirmed all settings, click the Send button.
- It may take a few seconds or minutes for the communication to complete.
- A green Successfully Sent banner will appear when the process is finished.
