Learn how to review Global Command History in SmartLink by following the instructions below
Step 1: Log into SmartLink and Navigate to the Controllers Page
- Visit smartlinknetwork.com and sign in.
- From the top menu, click on Controllers (next to Site and Inspection).
- This page displays all controllers associated with your profile.
Step 2: Open the Global Command History
- In the top right of the Controllers page, click Global Commands.
- From the drop down menu, select Global Command History.
Step 3: Review the Command History List
- This page shows a list of all Global Commands issued.
- You can filter the list to view more or fewer than 50 entries.
- Each entry displays:
- User who executed the command
- Action taken
- Date and Time (noted in UTC — convert to your local time zone if needed)
- Number of Controllers the command was sent to
Step 4: View Detailed Command Results
- Click Show next to a command entry to open its details.
- This will display:
- Site Name
- Controller Name
- Status of each controller (Success or Fail)
- If any controllers failed to receive the command, a red Failed status will appear with a Retry button available.
Step 5: Filter or Retry Failed Commands
- Use the filter options to narrow your view of the command list.
- To retry all failed commands at once, click Retry All Failed.
- You can also choose to view All Controllers for any given command.
Step 6: Check Recent Communications
- In the bottom left corner, click Recent Communications.
- This will display the most recent command activity and how long ago it occurred.
