Learn how to invite registered users to a SmartLink site by following the instructions below
Step 1: Navigate to the Site Page
- Log in to your SmartLink Network account at smartlinknetwork.com.
- Select the site to which you want to invite a user.
- Click on the Admin drop down button.
- Select Manage Site Users.
Step 2: Review Existing Users and Permissions
- You will see a list of current users associated with the site, showing their name, email address, and permissions.
- Four permission levels are available:
- View Controller: Users can view and monitor controllers.
- Run Commands: Users can start and stop zones or programs.
- Edit Programs: Users can edit site information and controller programming.
- Site Administration: Users can manage site details, users, and controller settings.
Step 3: Add a Registered User
- Click the Add User button.
- Enter the email address of the registered user.
- If adding multiple users, separate each email with a comma and a space.
- Select the necessary permissions by checking the corresponding boxes.
- Click Add User.
Step 4: Confirm and Adjust Permissions
- The added user will appear with their name, email address, and assigned permissions.
- If you need to adjust permissions, click the Edit button next to their name.
- Modify the permissions as needed by selecting or deselecting check boxes.
- Click Update Permissions to save the changes.
