Learn how to send Quick Commands to your controllers through the Global Command menu in SmartLink by following the instructions below
Step 1: Log into SmartLink and Navigate to the Controllers Page
- Navigate to smartlinknetwork.com and sign in.
- From the top menu, click on Controllers (next to Site and Inspection).
- This page will show all controllers associated with your profile.
- Use the search bar to filter controllers by site name or specific keywords if needed.
Step 2: Select Controllers to Send Commands
- Check the box next to each individual controller you want to select.
- To select all controllers, check the box next to Site at the top left.
Step 3: Open the Global Command Menu
- Click Global Command in the top right
- Select Send Quick Command from the menu.
Step 4: Choose a Quick Command
The Quick Command window will appear with several options:
- Remote On – Remotely turn controllers on.
- Remote Off – Remotely turn controllers off.
- Rain Delay – Set a rain delay for a specified number of hours or days.
- Clear All Faults – Clear any existing controller faults.
- Standard Receive – Update controller status, weather, and programming changes.
- Take Snapshot – Save a snapshot of the controller’s programming settings.
- Stop All – Stop all operating programs or zones until the next command.
Step 5: Execute the Quick Command
After selecting your desired command:
- Click Execute Command at the bottom left.
- View the command status and history as it processes.
Step 6: Review Command Status
- Green bubbles indicate commands that were sent successfully.

Red bubbles indicate failed commands.
- Click Retry next to a failed command to attempt to send it again.
- Click on any command bubble to view more details on the Controller Summary page.
