Learn how to build a Deficit Report for controllers in Smart Mode using SmartLink Network by following the instructions below
Step 1: Log In and Select Your Site
- Go to smartlinknetwork.com and enter your login credentials to access your account.
- On the Site Page, locate the site that contains the controller you want to report on.
- Click the Report button at the top near Inspections.
Step 2: Clear Default Report Data
- The default report will display high and low temperatures and past run times.
- Remove any unnecessary data by clicking the X button on each reporting line.
Step 3: Configure Your Report
- On the left, ensure the correct site is selected.
- If there are multiple controllers, select the specific one you want to report on.
- Under Reporting Items, choose All Zones Individually for a cleaner view.
- Confirm that the data source is set to SmartLine Controller.
- Change Run Times to Deficits.
- Click Add to generate the report.
Step 4: View and Analyze the Report
- The report will display each zone's deficit by date.
- For example, you might see Zone 2 showing a deficit in inches accrued daily.
Step 5: Adjust the Report Timeline
- To view data in a different format, select a different timeline option.
- Choose Weekly instead of Daily for a broader view.
- Adjust the timeline to cover a period of up to three months or 1 year.
Step 6: Save Your Report (Optional)
- Click Save As at the bottom of the page.
- Enter a name for your report (e.g., "Weekly Deficits").
- Click OK to save.
Step 7: Export or Delete Your Report
- To download the report as a CSV file, click Export All.
- If you no longer need the report, select Delete to remove it.
