Learn how to set a custom name for the internal sensor loop in SmartLink Network by following the instructions below
Step 1: Log In and Select Your Controller
- Go to smartlinknetwork.com and enter your login credentials to access your account.
- On the Site Page, find the search bar and type in and select your Site Name from the search results.
- Then click on the Controller name
-OR- - Locate the Controller List at the top, then find and click the Controller name.
Step 2: Access the Advanced Menu
- Navigate to the Advanced Menu tab on the Controller Page.
Step 3: Rename the Internal Sensor
- Locate the field labeled Sensor Loop Custom Name.
- Click inside the field and enter the desired name that best describes the sensor's function, such as Anemometer or Float Switch (Normally Open).
Step 4: Save and Apply Changes
- After entering the custom name, scroll down and click Save Advanced Settings.
- The updated sensor name will now be displayed on your SmartLink Controller page.
- Confirm that your updates were saved successfully by refreshing and checking the updated name on the Controller Page.
