Learn how to set a Rain Delay in SmartLink Network by following the instructions below
Step 1: Log In and Access Controllers
- Go to smartlinknetwork.com and enter your login credentials to access your account.
- Navigate to the Controllers tab at the top.
- You will see a list of controllers, regardless of their site.
- Search for the site name or address to show a specific group of controllers
Step 2: Select Controllers and Apply Rain Delay
- Select the controllers to which you want to apply a Rain Delay.
- Go to the top of the menu and click on Global Commands.
- Select Send Quick Command.
- From the available options, choose Rain Delay.
- Select the number of days for the Rain Delay. For example:
- 1 day applies a delay for today and expires at midnight.
- 3 days will apply a Rain Delay for three days.
- Click Execute Command.
- You can monitor the progress from the tray at the bottom of the menu. Click on the Rain Delay button at the bottom to view the controllers that have been updated.
Step 3: Apply a Rain Delay to a Single Controller
- Navigate to the specific controller’s page.
- Click on the Advanced Programming menu.
- Select Rain Delay from the available options.
- Choose the number of days for the Rain Delay.
- Click Save Advanced Settings.
- Make sure to Send the Rain Delay Command to the controller.
Step 5: Confirmation
- After sending the command, verify that the Rain Delay was successfully applied.
- You will see a notification confirming the completion of the command.
