Learn how to set an Omit Time in SmartLink Network by following the instructions below
Step 1: Log In and Select Your Controller
- Go to smartlinknetwork.com and enter your login credentials to access your account.
- On the Site Page, find the search bar and type in and select your Site Name from the search results.
- Then click on the Controller name
-OR- - Locate the Controller List at the top, then find and click the Controller name.
Step 2: Access Omit Time Settings
- On the Controller Page, navigate to the Programming section.
- Click on Omit Days and Times.
- Check the Omit Times section to see if any omit times are currently set.
Step 3: Set an Omit Time
- Click Edit Omit Settings.
- Under the From section, select the time when the omit will start.
- For example, if a university starts class at 7:00 AM and finishes at 7:00 PM, select these start and stop times accordingly.
- Note that program start times are in 10-minute increments. The omit time will end one minute before the program starts to avoid conflicts. (7 AM to 6:59 PM)
- Ensure the correct AM or PM is selected.
Step 4: Save and Send Changes
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
- Verify the omit time is displayed correctly (e.g., 7:00 AM to 6:59 PM).
- Click the Send button at the top of the page to apply the changes to your controller.
- The communication process may take a few minutes.
- A green Successfully Sent banner will appear when the update is complete.
