Learn how to set the slope for your zones in Smart Mode using SmartLink Network by following the instructions below
Step 1: Log In and Select Your Controller
- Go to smartlinknetwork.com and enter your login credentials to access your account.
- On the Site Page, find the search bar and type in and select your Site Name from the search results.
- Then click on the Controller name
-OR- - Locate the Controller List at the top, then find and click the Controller name.
Step 2: Access Smart Mode Settings
- On the Controller Page, scroll down to the Programming section.
- Click the Smart Mode Auto Adjust button.
Step 3: Edit Slope Settings
- Under the Slope column, you will see the current slope values for each zone. By default, these may be set to 0.
- Hover over the Slope label to view additional information on how slope adjustments impact your irrigation system.
- Click Edit Smart Settings to enter edit mode.
- Select the Pencil Icon next to the slope value you want to modify.
- Select the desired slope value in the drop down box. Higher slope values increase the run/soak cycle to prevent water runoff, depending on the Soil Type.

Step 4: Save and Send Changes
- After making your adjustments, click Stop Editing to save your selections.
- Click the red Send button at the top right corner to apply your changes to the controller.
- The system will show a Successfully Sent banner once the communication is complete.
