Learn how to claim Billing Responsibility from another user on a site in SmartLink Network by following the instructions below
Step 1: Access the Site
- Log in to your SmartLink Network account at smartlinknetwork.com
- Navigate to the desired Site and click on the Site Name.

You need to have Site Admin permissions to claim billing responsibility.

Step 2: Verify Your Permissions
- Click the Admin drop down button.
- Select Manage Site Users.
- Confirm you have Site Admin permissions by checking if the Site Admin checkbox is marked next to your name. If so, continue to Step 3. If not, contact a Site administrator to request that permission.
Step 3: Navigate to Billing Management
- Click the Settings button in the top right corner.
- Select Manage and then click on Billing.
- The page will display the Site Name, the current Billing Contact, and the option to Claim Billing Responsibility.
Step 4: Claim Billing Responsibility
- If you are claiming billing responsibility for a single site, click the Claim Billing Responsibility button.
- If you are claiming billing for multiple sites, check the boxes next to the sites you want to claim.
- Click the Claim Billing Responsibility button in the top right corner to claim billing for all selected sites.
Additional Options
- Use the Search bar to filter by contact name if needed.
- Adjust how many entries are displayed using the Show More Entries option.
Step 6: Confirm Your Action
- After clicking Claim Billing Responsibility, a list of controllers within the site will appear.
- Click Claim Site at the top of the page.
- A green Successfully Claimed banner will appear, confirming the action.
