How to Use Valve Locator on SmartLink Network

Learn how to use the Valve Locator feature in SmartLink Network by following the instructions below

Step 1: Log In and Select Your Controller

1. Go to smartlinknetwork.com and enter your login credentials to access your account.
2. On the Site Page, find the search bar and type in and select your Site Name from the search results.
3. Then click on the Controller name
   -OR-
4. Locate the Controller List at the top, then find and click the Controller name.

Step 2: Access the Valve Locator Feature

• On the Controller Page, locate the Manual Run section in the middle of the page.
• Hover over the Valve Locator name to view a helpful note.

Important Note:

• The water must be turned off to hear the solenoid chatter.
• If the water is on, the valve will turn on and off without producing the chatter sound, making it harder to locate.

Step 3: Select and Start a Zone

1. Select a Zone using the drop down menu.
   1. Notice that other manual run options will be disabled since only one function can run at a time.
2. Click Start for the chosen zone.
3. SmartLink will communicate with your controller, and a confirmation message will appear, stating that the Send was Successful.

Step 4: Stop or Cancel Valve Locator

• While the Valve Locator feature is running, any other programs or zones will be paused and canceled.
• The only ways to stop the Valve Locator are:
  • Running another zone or program.
  • Clicking the Stop All button.
