How to Calibrate More/Less in SmartLink

Learn how to adjust your More/Less Smart Mode Settings in SmartLink Network by following the instructions below

Step 1: Log In and Select Your Controller

1. Go to smartlinknetwork.com and enter your login credentials to access your account.
2. On the Site Page, find the search bar and type in and select your Site Name from the search results.
3. Then click on the Controller name
   -OR-
4. Locate the Controller List at the top, then find and click the Controller name.

Step 2: Access Smart Mode Settings

1. Scroll down to the Programming Section
2. Click on the Smart Mode (Auto-Adjust) drop down box
3. Click on Edit Smart Settings to enable modifications.

Step 3: Adjust the More/Less Settings

1. If you’ve already set up your controller’s Smart Settings with information like your ZIP code, latitude, sprinkler type, and plant type, you’ll see those details.
2. To adjust only the More/Less settings, continue without modifying the other information.

Step 4: Understanding the Adjustments

1. The More/Less setting allows you to increase or decrease zone run times.
2. For example:
   • A +25% adjustment increases a 10-minute runtime to approximately 12.5 minutes.
   • A -50% adjustment reduces a 10-minute runtime to about 5 minutes.
3. Keep in mind that Smart Mode recalculates daily, so adjustments won’t be exact but will follow your settings as a guideline.

Step 5: Save and Send Changes

1. After making your adjustments, click Stop Editing to save your changes.
2. At the top of the page, click Send to transmit the updates to your panel.
3. A confirmation banner saying Successfully Sent will appear within 10 to 60 seconds.
4. If not and a Red Failed banner shows up, wait 1 minute and send again
