Learn how to transfer a site to another Billing User in SmartLink Network by following the instructions provided below
Step 1: Access the Admin Panel
- Log into SmartLink Network at smartlinknetwork.com
- Navigate to the Site page in SmartLink.
- Click the Admin drop-down button in the top right of the site page.
Step 2: Choose a Transfer Method
There are two options to transfer permissions. Choose the one that suits your needs:
Option 1: Using Site Details
- Click on Site Details.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Transfer Ownership section.
- Select a user to transfer ownership to. (Note: Only users with Site Admin permissions will appear here.)
Option 2: Using Manage Site Users
- Go back to the Site page.
- Click the Admin drop-down button and select Manage Site Users.
- Locate the current billing user.
- If available, click on Transfer Site Ownership. (Only users with Site Admin permissions can be selected.)
Step 3: Complete the Transfer
- Clicking Transfer Site Ownership will redirect you to the Site Details page.
- Under Transfer Ownership, select the user and click Transfer Ownership.
- Confirm the action by clicking the red Transfer button.
- A confirmation message will appear, and an email will be sent to the selected user.
Step 4: Recipient Actions
- The recipient will receive a New Billing Transfer Request email.
- Upon opening the email, they can view the details of the transfer, including the sender and site information.
- The recipient can choose to Accept or Reject the transfer.
- After clicking Accept, a confirmation message will appear, and ownership will be officially transferred.
Step 5: Verify the Transfer
- Return to the Admin panel and select Manage Site Users.
- Confirm that the new billing user is displayed correctly.
